Washington at Philadelphia

The Phillies have played some great baseball to pass the NL East leading Atlanta Braves and now have a comfortable cushion sitting atop the East. Kyle Kendrick has not been the reason. Kendrick has struggled all season long and sports a not top NL like 4.85 ERA. He is playing well, but has lost four of his last five starts. His ERA over his last seven starts shows 6.56, so he is really in a funk right now. He has really gotten hurt in his three starts vs the Nats this season allowing 16 turns in just 11 innings, pitching to a 13.09 ERA. The Nationals have not rolled over and played dead as they are 5-1 in their last six posted as a dog from +151 to +200. I like Washington in this one.
