Washington has won four of its last five after a 6-5 victory over Colorado on Sunday as Juan Soto hit a two-run homer and doubled for the Nationals, who have their best pitcher going tonight in Erick Fedde. The right-hander comes off six scoreless innings against the Dodgers on Wednesday and he has allowed just five runs in 22 2/3 innings on the road for a 1.99 ERA this season. Fedde has given up only six runs in 27 2/3 innings overall in May and he faced the Mets once this year and gave up two runs in five innings. New York is in a letdown spot after sweeping the Phillies, including a walk-off win in 10 innings on Sunday night, and the Mets have lost six of their past eight Monday games.
