The Mets are here to stay, as their pitching has allowed just 221 total runs on the season. That is the best mark in Major League Baseball. The Mets are riding a 13-3 stretch in their last 16 games. The Mets' pitching continues strong, but the warmer weather has brought the bats to life. The Mets in those 16 games have averaged about 5.5 runs per contest. The Nationals, like many other struggling teams, tend to have a few good stretches interspersed throughout their season. The Nationals went 10-3 over a 13-game stretch, but have fallen off sharply. They are just 2-6 in their last eight games. I like the Mets in this one.
