Washington at Los Angeles

Excluding the 2020 Covid-19 shortened season the LA Dodgers have not won a World Series since 1988 despite an enormous payroll and a roster of starts. They have started the season at 11-7 as they host the Washington Nationals tonight. The Dodgers are just 6-5 on the season when facing a losing team, and are currently on a three game losing streak against them. Their ROI in the 11 games is -17.5%. Washington has played well recently at 4-3 in their last seven games and has allowed three or fewer runs in five of those seven games. The Dodgers have looked very mediocre and now has a 4-5 record in their last nine games. The Dodgers high priced pitching staff has already allowed six teams to score five or more runs against them. I don't think LA will be inspired by playing the Nationals, and the line is way too high all things considered. Make the play on Washington.
