What can you say about the Nationals, as they are simply not a competitive team? They win 25% of their road games with a negative 37% ROI. Last season they reached the century mark in losses, while producing a road ROI of negative 19%. There is simply no way to back them on the road. If those numbers aren't bad enough, it gets worse. The Nats are now 9-45 in interleague play in their last 54 road games against a right-handed starter. Anyway you paint it, it comes up ugly! The Birds have been a better-than-average team at home as they enter here at 22-17, and whipped the Nats last night. They are now 8-2 in their last 10 interleague home games against a right-handed starter. This should be another blow to Nats fans, and I'm going with Baltimore on the runline.
