Washington at Atlanta

The Atlanta Braves were expected to be a playoff caliber team this season, but injuries took their toll and the Braves never competed all season. This team has not quit, and I wouldn't expect them to now either. The Braves have won 8 straight, and that includes a 4 game sweep of the Nationals in Washington. Washington is just 4-8 over their last 12 games, and I don't expect much of this team the rest of the season. Washington is sending MacKenzie Gore to the mound, but he is just 5-14 on the season. Chris Sale has struck out 150 batters in just 115 innings this year. Sale has not allowed more than 1 run in 8 of his last 9 starts. I like Atlanta in this one.
