Washington at Atlanta

At 17-24 on the season, the Washington Nationals are now even in the loss column with Miami for the basement in the NL East. The Nats have dropped five straight games. It isn't just losing, as Washington has been out-scored 37-10 in the five games, or by 5.4 runs per game. The Nats are a case of a bad team playing at its worst. Atlanta has picked up five wins in their last eight games. The Braves' pitching has dominated as they have not allowed any opponent to score more than four runs in any of the eight games. Atlanta has been highly competitive as they have lost just one game by more than a single run in their last 13. I like grabbing a home team pitching great vs. a visitor that has not been competitive at all. Make the play on Atlanta.
