Washington at Atlanta

The Atlanta Braves at 56-54 are right in the thick of things in the mediocre NL East. The Nats waved the white flag on the season dealing with their ace Max Scherzer before the trade deadline. It has shown up on the field as well as the Nats have dropped 5 straight games. The Braves are making a move and have won 4 straight games, all 4 wins have come by 4 runs or more including the opener in this series. Washington has gotten horrible pitching as the Nats have allowed 61 runs over its last 9 games or 6.8 a contest. I expect the Braves to take advantage of their suddenly hot lineup. Make the play on Atlanta.
