Washington at Arizona

The Washington Nationals, on the surface, seem to be a hot team. The Nats have won 9 of their last 13 games. A closer look reveals they are not beating good teams, outside of the series with Seattle. I don't think they are trending up. Arizona is a team that can put runs on the board quickly, averaging five runs per game. They currently have a losing record because they are in the toughest division of all, in the NL West. Merrill Kelly gives the Diamondbacks a chance to win every time out, especially at home. Kelly, over his last three seasons, has led the D-Backs to a 25-12 record and a stellar 3.47 ERA. Arizona is 11-4 on the money line in the last 15 meetings, including 5-1 in the previous six.
