Toronto at Texas

Texas and Toronto played a lopsided game last night, a 7-1 final that still saw both teams combine for just eight runs, well shy of tonight's total. Cal Quantrill takes the ball for the Rangers off his best stretch of the season: four wins in his last five starts, a sub-3.00 ERA that ranks among the league's best marks, and at least six innings in four straight turns. Jose Soriano gets the ball for Toronto, and while he can miss bats, he allowed four earned runs in his last outing against Detroit, and he's been inconsistent start to start all month. Toronto's lineup has scored under four runs a game on the season, nothing that's going to push Quantrill into trouble, and the Blue Jays have dropped six of their last ten games. With a pitcher dealing like this on the mound and an offense across the diamond that hasn't been scoring much, tonight's total looks priced above what this matchup should produce. The UNDER is my play tonight.
