Toronto was supposed to be in the thick of things in the rugged AL East, but injuries and a poor start has them well below .500. They have started to play at a higher level. In their last 10 games as an underdog, they have captured the win in seven of them. Texas certainly is a playoffs caliber team, but over the course of a long season, even good teams have moments of struggle, and Texas is in the midst of one right now. The Rangers are just 6-10 in their last 16 games. Esmil Rogers has been the best rotation option for the Jays over the last month, allowing just a single run in his last 16.2 innings or work, and is capable of going toe-to-tow with Yu Darvish. The odds here are over done, so play on Toronto.
