Toronto continued to close in on a postseason berth with a 4-2 win over the Rays on Tuesday as Bo Bichette gave the Blue Jays a 3-2 lead in the sixth with a sacrifice fly. The Blue Jays have won seven of their past 10 games and are a half-game ahead of the Yankees for the second wild card. Tampa Bay has slipped lately losing six of its past 10 and it has scored only 11 runs its last four games. Toronto has won four of the last six meetings and the Blue Jays are 10-2 their past 12 road games. Julian Merryweather will make his first start for Toronto and Luis Patino goes for the Rays. Patino gave up four runs in six innings his last outing and he has allowed 10 runs his last 13 innings. Take the Blue Jays.
