Toronto at Oakland
Wednesday 07/22 10:05 PM Eastern
1 unit on Toronto +148 (moneyline) (risk 1 to return 2.48) RESULT: LOSS
The Toronto Blue Jays have the best offense in baseball, and they have come out of the break by winning three of their first four games. The Jays turn to Felix Doubront, who had a 2.44 ERA in AAA Buffalo, had some success with Boston in the recent past, and has pitched one gem and one poor game since being recalled by the Jays. Sonny Gray had the best ERA in the AL until his last start vs. Minnesota where he just didn't have it. Gray has not shown endurance over his career as he has been brilliant prior to the All-Star break where he is 20-6 with a 2.40 ERA, but owns a 9-11 mark after the break where his ERA jumps nearly a run per game. The A's have really struggled against left handed pitching where they are a woeful 6-17, and Gray has not fared well in his last five as home chalk where the A's are just 1-4. Make the play on Toronto.
