The defending American League champion Blue Jays take to the road for the first time this season. Toronto had a losing road record in the regular season last year. The Blue Jays just lost two out of three at home to the Rockies. If the Rockies can beat the Blue Jays, the White Sox can certainly pull off a similar upset. Chicago is 1-5, but this is its home opener. Toronto starter Dylan Cease was brilliant in his first start this season, giving up one run with 12 strikeouts in 5.1 innings against the A's. Cease can be dominant like that. He can also be inconsistent and wild, as his 4.55 ERA and 1.33 WHIP from last year show. The White Sox are expected to improve this season with a new-look lineup. Munetaka Murakami already has three homers. Miguel Vargas has six RBIs. Grant Taylor will serve as the White Sox opener. He struck out 54 in 36.2 innings last season with s a fastball that can reach 102 mph. Sean Burke will then step in and pitch the majority of the way. The Blue Jays had no extra-base hits in their last game, a 2-1 loss to the Rockies. Toronto was minus $2.75 in that game. Take the White Sox.
