Toronto at Baltimore

Toronto fell closer to last place in the AL East with a 4-2 loss to the Orioles on Tuesday. The Blue Jays now have lost 26 of their last 34 games. Toronto has scored a total of only eight runs its last five games and was held to five hits last night. Baltimore has been getting decent pitching its last six games and has David Hess on the mound tonight. Hess allowed three earned runs in six innings at Texas last Thursday and Toronto hitters are a combined 4-for-47 against him. It may finally be time for Edwin Jackson to retire as he has a 11.90 ERA and 0-4 record and has allowed 32 runs (26 earned) in only 19 2/3 innings this season and the Blue Jays have lost all five of his starts.
