Texas has lost Martin Perez's last four starts by a combined score of 19-6, including a loss to the Angels on Sunday when he allowed four runs and eight hits in 5 2/3 innings while walking four batters. Perez was 2-8 with a 5.78 ERA on the road in 2016. Texas is tied for last in the AL West and just 5-9 on the road even after Friday's 3-1, 13-inning win. The Mariners are 8-5 at home and will go with rookie Chris De Jong, who was the Texas League Pitcher of the Year last season.
