Texas at Oakland

The Texas Rangers came roaring out of spring training to open the season 15-4 through their first 19 games. It has been a pedestrian stretch since then that has left the Rangers below .500 from game 20 on. Oakland is not going to win a lot of games, but their pitching keeps them in most games. When their lineup is producing, as it has recently having scored 24 runs in their last four games, the wins are going to come a whole lot easier. The Rangers have had a lot of problems trying to string wins together, and stand at 3-8 in their last 11 when following a win. The Rangers have allowed 31 runs in Colby Lewis' last six starts or over 5 per contest, so the A's should find some runs here and become a live dog. Play on Oakland.
