Justin Duchscherer has the best ERA in all of baseball at an amazing 1.87. Over his last three starts he has been close to 1.5 runs a game. In 17 starts he has allowed more than six hits just once and has been consistent and impressive. Including what the A's pen has allowed, opponents have managed just 11 runs over his last seven starts or about 1.5 a game. It basically says if the A's find three runs this one has a good chance. If they find more, it is close to a certainty. We will play the A's on the runline, especially facing Matt Harrison who has pitched his last two games to teams scoring double digits each game.
