Texas at Las Vegas

The Oakland A's have managed to get more out of less than any team in baseball over the last decade or so. Texas started the season as a good choice to get back to the World Series and finish the job. Oakland was not supposed to be contending at this stage of the season, but have a bona fide shot at one of the two wildcard spots in the American League. While Kolby Lewis is well noted to be a top-of-the-rotation pitcher for the Rangers, Travis Blackley has been better lately. Blackley has allowed just six total runs in his last four starts with an ERA of under 2. Lewis has not been productive on the road when facing a team with a winning record, as his teams are 9-20. The Rangers have dropped four straight vs. lefthanders, and the A's are 9-1 in their last 10 vs. a team with a winning road record. Play on Oakland.
