Texas at Las Vegas

Texas has won two straight but the Rangers still are in last place in the AL West with a 4-9 record and Martin Perez is their starting pitcher today and he has allowed seven runs (six earned) on 12 hits in eight innings this season and Texas has lost both games. Perez comes off a 2021 season when he went 7-8 with a 4.74 ERA and .296 opponent batting average. Oakland is going with Frankie Montas, who has had two good outings giving up just two earned runs in 12 1/3 innings against Tampa Bay and Baltimore.
