1 unit on Oakland -148 (moneyline) (risk 1 to return 1.68) RESULT: LOSS
The Oakland A's have consistently gotten more mileage out of their roster than any team in baseball. They seem to make a lot of roster moves year to year, and come out on top despite the changes. They are very high on today's pitcher, Kendall Graveman. Graveman is yet another in a long line of top prospects, this one acquired in a trade with Toronto. Graveman was lights-out this spring pitching to an 0.36 ERA and posting a 3-1 record. Nick Martinez has yet to prove he belongs as he was 5-12 with a 4.55 ERA as a rookie a season ago. Texas has already been outscored 19-3 in this series, and has all of two extra base hits. The Rangers' 20-43 mark in their last 63 vs. a right hander doesn't bode well here to change the ugly offensive production through three games. Play on Oakland.
