The Texas Rangers were a hot team for a while, but they have settled back to their usual losing ways and have once again dropped below the coveted .500 mark. Brandon McCarthy gets the ball for the Rangers and he has only made one start, as he builds arm strength after not pitching for almost a year resulting in lasting just four innings. That spells trouble for the Rangers, because their middle relief, and relief in general, has led to some mighty big explosions by their opponents. The Rangers’ lineup might be missing Josh Hamilton, who missed last night with an abscessed tooth. We like the Angels who may not have motivation in the division where they have made big separation from all contenders, but now stand a half game behind Tampa Bay for home field throughout the playoffs, so expect them to show up for this one, and we will grab them on the runline.
