Texas at Houston

Not only do the Rangers have a massive starting pitching edge with Jacob deGrom versus Kai-Wei Teng, but they hold a monster edge in the bullpen, too. Texas is getting another great season from deGrom, who is 3-2 with a 2.62 ERA and 0.92 WHIP. He has 57 strikeouts in 44.2 innings. Only two teams have bullpens with an ERA lower than the Rangers' 3.11. Houston is not one of those two teams. The Astros, in fact, have the league's highest ERA at 5.81. The team with the next-worst bullpen ERA is the Twins at 5.33. So Teng, a converted reliever, can expect little help. He is 1-3 with a 3.12 ERA and 1.08 ratio. The ERA and ratio are good, but he has made only two starts this season and has a lifetime ERA of 5.46 and a career WHIP of 1.46.
