The Tampa Bay Rays are a small market team that has been doing a great job developing talent, and they seem to find a way to be competitive. The margin for error is thin, however, and right now the injury list is expanding. The Rays season can be defined by a 24-5 stretch they had over a 29 game period. Unfortunately for them, they are otherwise 13-19. And since the streak ended, they are just 4-10. Toronto has a solid lineup that keeps getting better, and they are playing their best baseball of the season having gone 8-3 over their last 11 games and are now three games over .500. The MLB season is long with a lot of ups and downs, but right now these teams are heading in opposite directions. Go with Toronto in this one.
