Tampa Bay at Oakland

Saturday 05/08 04:05 PM Eastern

2 units on Tampa Bay -150 (moneyline) (risk 2 to return 2)  RESULT: LOSS

What can be said about the Rays' start? They have the best record in baseball at 22-7, and have lost just one time on the road the entire season. They lead the majors in run diffeential, and their pitching can be assessed in one word - brilliant! The Rays have allowed 17 runs in their last nine games, and an even better 6 in their last five. They have allowed opponents 1 run or less 10 times already this season. A light-hitting Oakland attack is going to struggle here again, after plating just a single run last night. The A's as as home dog from +110 to +150, are bringing little bite as they are 1-8 in this situation over their last nine. Ben Sheets doesn't fare so well in this role either, dropping his last five. I'll go with the white-hot Tampa Bay Rays in this one.
