Tampa Bay at New York

Tampa Bay has cooled off somewhat, losing two in a row to the Yankees. Now the Rays have to face Gerrit Cole, who is 6-2 with a 1.78 ERA overall and in 14 1/3 innings against the Rays this season he has allowed only two earned runs on nine hits. New York won 4-3 on Wednesday as Clint Frazier drove in two runs  just one night after his walk-off homer. The Yankees have won two straight after losing six of seven in what has been a streaky season for them. Ryan Yarbrough goes for the Rays and he has given up 33 runs (27 earned) in 57 innings and opposing hitters are batting .256 against him.
