Chien-Ming Wang has been great pitching at the Stadium. The Yankees own a 30-12 record when he is on the hill here. He had his sinker going in the opener vs the Blue Jays, which is always a good sign. Wang started 16 games last year at the Stadium and pitched through at least six innings in every one of them. That means they are set up to have Chamberlain and Rivera close it out. Shields has been awful against the Yankees compiling a career 8.58 ERA against them. His last two starts vs the Bombers shows him allowing 15 earned runs in 9 innings. The Bombers break out today.
