This isn't just any regular-season home game for the White Sox. This one marks the MLB debut of 6-foot-10 inch lefty Noah Schultz, who is one of the top minor league pitching prospects. Schultz was dominant in three Class AAA starts for Charlotte to begin 2026, going 3-0 with a 1.29 ERA, 0.43 WHIP, 19 strikeouts to just two walks, and a .089 batting average against in 14 innings. Schultz looked good for Chicago during spring training, too, with a 2.08 ERA and five strikeouts in 4.1 innings spanning two outings. Rays starting pitcher Shane McClanahan is making just his third start since returning from injury. He does not go deep into games, having thrown only 8.2 innings this season.
