St. Louis has five straight wins after sweeping the Pirates in a three-game set while allowing only four runs in the series. Erick Fedde bounced back from a rough outing against Milwaukee and allowed three runs on six hits in five innings as the Cardinals beat the Mets 6-5 on Sunday. Fedde faced the Nationals twice in 2024 and did not give up a run in 14 innings. Mitchell Parker has been hit hard his past two starts allowing 12 runs (11 earned) in nine innings pitched. Washington is allowing 5.39 runs per game and it has the worst bullpen in the National League with a 7.22 ERA and a 1.73 WHIP. Take the Cardinals.
