St. Louis has gone UNDER four of five overall and five of seven against NL West opponents. San Francisco has averaged only 3.12 runs in its past eight games, including Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Dodgers when the Giants totaled five hits. The Giants are 10-2-1 UNDER in Justin Verlander's past 13 home starts, and he has allowed just three runs in his past five outings, and four of them stayed UNDER. Michael McGreevy comes off two starts where he gave up just a run on eight hits in 13 innings pitched. Verlander faced the Cardinals on Sept. 6 and threw six shutout innings on three hits in a 3-2 St. Louis victory. Take the UNDER.
