St. Louis at Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh lost a tough one in 10 innings on Monday. The Pirates came up just short after scoring three runs in the bottom of the inning after Paul Goldschmidt had hit a grand slam in the top of the 10th. Chris Archer is on the mound tonight and the Pirates have won four of his last six starts. Archer hasn't allowed more than three runs over his last five starts, including an outing against St. Louis on Wednesday when he gave up three runs on five hits in six innings.  Dakota Hudson has pitched better at home than on the road and in two appearances versus the Pirates this season he has been touched for three runs on nine hits in 6 2/3 innings. Pittsburgh has won 10 of its last 13 home games against right-handed starters and Archer has won his last four home starts. Play the Pirates.
