The Pittsburgh Pirates with 90+ losses again last season, are well under the radar. They are off to just a 5-8 start, which just adds value to this team who started 51-44 a year ago, before injuries mounted.  They lacked the organizational depth to deal with the injuries and fell apart. They have done a good job bolstering their rotation and bullpen, and through 13 games they remain the only team in baseball that has not allowed more than five runs to any team. That simply means they are in every game they play. Jake Westbrook has started fast, but his numbers will diminish as the season goes on and the Cards are just 1-4 in his last five starts as a favorite from -110 to -150. The Pirates have shined at home vs. a team with a winning road percentage greater than .600 where they are 12-5. Play on Pittsburgh.
