The Milwaukee Brewers are facing an elimination game at home, and I expect them to respond - just as they have done all season. The Brewers put together the best home record in baseball this season, and after a home loss (even if not in consecutive games), they are 17-6 at home, so they are very tough here. Shaun Marcum gets the ball for the Brew Crew, and he was hit hard by the Cardinals in his last start. He pitched a gem in his last outing before that vs. the St. Louis going 7 innings of shutout baseball, so he is plenty capable of shutting this lineup down. The Cardinals counter with Edwin Jackson who allowed 7 hits in just four innings in his last start this series. St. Louis is just 4-10 in their last 14 League Championship Series games, while Milwaukee is now 42-11 in their last 53 at home vs. a right-hand pitcher. I'll go with Milwaukee to even the series at three games apiece.
