The Brewers haven't gotten the type of season out of Jeff Suppan that they expected, but every pitcher has a run in them and Suppan is off a one run, seven-inning gem. He has also pitched well against the Cardinals over his career where he has posted a 7-3 mark and a career ERA of just 3.31. This season Suppan had his best game against the Cards as he shut them out for seven innings. The Cards were also hoping for more from Todd Wellemeyer, but it simply has not materialized as he has pitched to a rather poor 5.44 ERA. Those numbers have been worse in his last three starts and even worse over his career vs. the Brew Crew. I like the Brewers here in this one and will play them on the runline.
