St. Louis at Milwaukee

The St. Louis Cardinals after a 2-1 start have now dropped 4 straight games. The Cardinals hit rock bottom yesterday as they were shut out in the series opener 4-0 vs the Brewers. All is not lost. St. Louis has been one of the top teams in baseball coming off a shutout loss as they own a 13-4 mark in their last 17 following a shutout. They have averaged just shy of 5 runs per game in those 17 contests, so they do come back motivated following a shutout loss. The Brewers on the other hand are 4-6 after shutting out their previous opponent if it is the same team. I like St. Louis.
