St. Louis at Milwaukee

St. Louis will look to slow down the surging Brewers, who have won five straight, and the Cardinals have the correct pitcher to do it in Jack Flaherty, who shut out Toronto on no hits in five innings on Saturday. Flaherty will need better control though as he walked seven batters. St. Louis comes off a 5-2 loss to Atlanta and the Cardinals are 5-0 in Flaherty's past five starts after they allowed at least five runs their previous game and 4-0 after scoring two or fewer. Milwaukee starter Brandon Woodruff had a rough start last season with a 5.30 ERA in April and 4.32 in May before he settled down and pitched well the rest of the year.
