St. Louis at Kansas City

Huge line but can't resist this one because I think the Cards win this game 9 out of 10 times. I mean we get Chris Carpenter against the Royals. KC has been decent at home this year but the fact remains that St. Louis is 5-1 here in KC over the past three seasons. Carpenter brings in a 1.98 ERA and the opposing pitcher (Mark Redman) has a 6.03 ERA. In his last tstart vs. Baltimore, Redman gave up 5 runs in 6.3 innings. The Cardinals are 53-19 overall over the past two seasons with Carpenter on the mound while the Royals are 2-24 as an underdog with Redman starting. Throw in the huge bullpen advantage for St. Louis (2.82 ERA vs. 5.53) and we have a St. Louis play.
