St. Louis at Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Reds got off to a historic slow start at 3-21. That makes the overall record of 50-76 look a lot worse than it has been since that time. They are just 8 games under .500 since. St. Louis has taken control of the NL Central at 74-54. The Cards after a very strong run have calmed down at 4-3 in their last 7. They are off a tough series at home vs the Braves and with this being the opener of a road trip, I think this could be a huge letdown spot for St. Louis. The REds are a respectable 5-6 in their last 11 games. St. Louis starter Miles Mikolas has had little success vs Cincinnati where his career ERA stands at an unimpressive 5.26. Chase Anderson has far better numbers vs St. Louis. I like the Cincinnati Reds in this one.
