Seattle has found some offense of late pounding in 5.9 runs per game over their past seven games. Oakland has struggled offensively, especially against lefties (3.5 runs per game). With Jamie Moyer on the mound, that doesn't bode well for the A's. Moyer is 81-36 vs. teams with an on base percentage .330 or worse since 1997. Barry Zito on the other hand is a slow starter. He's just 8-17 in the first half of the season over the past two seasons. And, the A's are 1-7 this season as a home favorite of -125 to -150 this season. I like Seattle here.
