Seattle at Houston

Seattle was eliminated from contention for the AL West title, losing 7-0 to the Astros on Tuesday night as Marwin Gonzalez belted a two-run homer in a four-run third inning to help Houston go up five games over second-place Oakland. The Astros had a rough stretch in August when Jose Altuve was out of the lineup, but the defending champs are back on their way to winning 100 games. Houston has won 20 of its last 26 overall and eight of its last 10 home games. Also, the Astros are 46-18 over their last 64 home games against right-handed starters and 23-10 in Dallas Keuchel's last 33 starts versus AL West teams. Keuchel has a 3.25 ERA since the All-Star break and he pitched well his last outing, allowing two runs on five hits in six innings although the Astros went on to lose 4-2 to Arizona. Seattle took awhile deciding who will start tonight's game, but it appears it will be rookie Matt Festa making his first career start. Take the Astros.
