San Francisco is no offensive powerhouse at 22nd in baseball in runs scored and slugging. The Giants are 7-20 in their last 27 interleague road games vs. a team with a losing record and 1-5 in lefty Madison Bumgarner's last six starts as an underdog. He is 5-1 at home with a 2.27 ERA, but a .500 pitcher on the road where is ERA almost doubles (3.89). Seattle likes facing southpaws with the Mariners 37-18 in their last 55 interleague games against a left-handed starter. San Fran has dropped two of the last three games and they are a dog because they're running into Felix Hernandez, one of the best arms in the game, striking out 44 in 43 innings at home, 38 hits allowed and only 12 walks.  The Mariners are 19-7 in Hernandez's last 26 home starts vs. a team with a winning record and 12-5 in his last 17 interleague starts. He's a perfect 2-0 in his career against the Giants in 14 innings with a 3.21 ERA, fanning 15 with four walks. And the Giants are 2-7 in the last nine meetings in Seattle. Play the Mariners.
