San Francisco at Miami

Don't look now, but the San Francisco Giants are the sixth best team in the National League, and are now three games over .500. They are just one game out of the wildcard race. Not too many would have believed that to be the case to start the season. They played poorly on the road to start the season, but have now won four of their last five on the road, and nine of their last 12 overall. The Giants are getting great pitching, and have held the opponent to three runs or less in 15 of their last 19 games! That makes getting +1.5 runs in this one look huge, considering nearly 80% of the last 19 opponents have failed to top three, so if the Giants get to even two here, they may very well win this! The Giants are 11-8 in their last 19 games, but if they were playing to a +1.5 runline, they would stand at an amazing 17-2! The Marlins have the lowest payroll in baseball, and shocked everyone with an 11-1 start. That shock has long passed as they are now just 16-30 since. I'm going with the Giants in this one on the runline.
