San Diego at St. Louis

St. Louis has won six of Sonny Gray's past seven starts when he has had four days rest, and apparently he had too much time off when he allowed nine runs his last outing against Arizona. That was on five days rest and Gray will look to bounce back against the Padres, who have lost two in a row. San Diego is 24-29 on the road this season, and they've scored only seven runs in three games and all three went UNDER. The Padres have been wasting good pitching recently as they struggle to score runs. They have lost two of Yu Darvish's three starts and he has allowed nine runs in 13 1/3 innings. The UNDER is 5-0 in Gray's past five starts after the Padres scored two or fewer runs their previous game. San Diego is 58-41 UNDER in 2025. Take the Cardinals and the UNDER.
