San Diego at San Francisco

This is the sixth straight road game for San Diego, on a 4-7 skid. The Padres are 22-45 away against losing teams, plus 19-42 versus the NL West. The offense is #27 in runs scored, and last in on-base percentage. It will be a bullpen by committee game tonight and they start a terrible arm in Luis Perdomo (1-6, 7.56 ERA), with the team 1-10 his last 11 starts. This is the third straight home game for San Francisco. Starter Casey Kelly has excellent control with five walks in 18+ innings. In his only appearance at home this season he threw five shutout innings against Pittsburgh. The Giants are also 11-7 against the Padres when entering the final meeting of the season.
