The San Diego Padres are swinging some hot bats right now, winning three out of their last four games. That includes the first two in their series with the Marlins, outscoring them 18-3 in the process. Last night they used a 20-hit onslaught. Javier Vasquez owns an ERA of over 5, so the hot Padres’ bats should get some fat pitches to hit. Dustin Mosely has won just two games on the season, but he has pitched at a much higher level with a 3.36 ERA on the season. The Padres have been menacing of late on field turf where they have won six of their last seven. Florida has struggled to a 9-22 mark in their last 31 vs. right-hand pitching, and are now also 7-21 following a loss. Take San Diego in this one.
