San Diego at Cleveland

The Cleveland offense has been all over the place. The team started hot at the plate and they were winning early but then cooled down as the bats went silent. They managed just seven runs in a four-game series vs the Angels, and seven more runs in a three-game set vs. the Yankees. Another good team, the San Diego Padres, visits this afternoon for a twin-bill and I'm circling the second-half of the double header as a good chance for a low scoring affair. MacKenzie Gore is probable for the visitor and he's 2-0 with a 1.76 ERA. Gore has thrown 20 strikeouts in just 15 1/3 innings pitched, and he's playing with great confidence after a couple dominating performances vs. the weak-hitting Reds. Cal Quantrill will go for the Guardians and although he used to play for the Friars (2019-20), only two hitters on San Diego's current roster have seen his stuff. Make the play on the UNDER.
