Pittsburgh at Washington
Friday 06/19 07:05 PM Eastern
1 unit on Washington +110 (moneyline) (risk 1 to return 2.1) RESULT: WIN
The Washington Nationals were projected to be the team to beat prior to the start of the 2015 season, but that has not panned out so far. They will also likely be without their top hitter in Bryce Harper, who left last night's game with a hamstring injury. The Pirates come in wielding an eight-game winning streak, and send A.J. Burnett to the mound with his 6-2 record, backed by a 1.89 ERA. The Nationals will likely be focused here, and have enough pieces to get the win at home. The Pirates have been awful when starting a series with Burnett on the mound where they own a woeful 2-9 mark in their last 11. Pittsburgh has also struggled here where they have dropped four straight. Take Washington.
