The Pirates have now run the streak of 50+ losses on the road to four seasons, with an overall record of 106-221, throwing in the 1-3 start to 2010 on the road. They now must face a hot offensive team, plating nearly 6 runs per game as well as a pitcher in Matt Cain that shut them out here on three hits in their only appearance against him in San Francisco. Cain also held them to a single run in Pittsburgh a year ago. This line may appear chalky, but under the prevailing circumstances, I see the odds of Pittsburgh getting this one at much less, so I'll go with San Francisco here.
