Philadelphia came back from six runs down to win 12-6 on Thursday as J.T. Realmuto hit a two-run homer and a two-run single, and Ronald Torreyes had a go-ahead three-run homer. It was the second time this season that the Phillies have erased a six-run deficit, and then won by at least six runs to become the first team to do it twice in the same season. The Phillies have won seven of nine and still can't afford to lose many because their only realistic chance of making the postseason is to catch Atlanta. Kyle Gibson faced Pittsburgh once this season and gave up two runs on five hits in 6 2/3 innings. Sam Howard will make his first start of the year for the Pirates after 49 relief appearances.
