Pittsburgh at Detroit

The Pittsburgh Pirates have Paul Skeenes, but the rest of the rotation and bats have been much below average. The Pirates sit at 29-44 and are at the bottom of the NL Central standings. The Tigers have played great baseball since the start of the season. Their 46-27 record is the best in MLB. The Tigers have few, if any, weaknesses, as they can both score and pitch effectively. This is an even tougher spot for the Pirates as the Tigers are 24-11 at home on the season. The Pittsburgh offense has been brutal of late. They lost three out of four games to the Cubs, despite holding them to nine runs in the four-game series. I like Detroit in this one.
